The Culture Care Connect program will bring together key streams of suicide prevention planning, coordination and activity across the network regions, including raising awareness, early intervention, crisis management and aftercare services, with seven (7) community-controlled suicide prevention networks (CCSPN) to be established in Western Australia.

The program aims to improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mental health and suicide prevention outcomes, building evidence and understanding through working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander experts and those with lived experience, supporting a culturally appropriate mental health system workforce and providing early intervention measures that contribute to improved social and emotional wellbeing outcomes.

The Culture Care Connect Jurisdictional Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing jurisdictional coordination and support to Community-Controlled Suicide Prevention Networks and aftercare services.
