The Eye Health Program Coordinator directly reports to and is accountable to the Executive Manager Public Health and Continuous Quality Improvement. This position is primarily responsible for planning, preparing, promoting and delivering online and face-to-face eye health training.

The Eye Health Training Coordination Program aims to address eye health and preventable blindness by improving the overall Eye Health Systems effectiveness across the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) sector in WA.

The position involves working within a multicultural organisation where the majority of employees, clients and stakeholders identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. Candidates must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
