Working closely with the positive, energetic and enthusiastic Public Health and Continuous Quality Improvement Team, you will contribute to the team’s success by providing support, advice and advocacy to the Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia and its Member Services to strengthen and promote the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services’ Model of Care; underpinned by the fundamental dimensions pivotal to the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal People and their communities.

This includes prioritising public health approaches within primary health care; enhancing the capacity of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services to implement public health initiatives; strengthen service level responses to public health issues such as chronic disease, communicable disease and environmental health; providing expert clinical guidance and fostering a culture of CQI.
