Accountability and Reporting

The National Agreement on Closing the Gap includes a commitment by the Parties to independent oversight and accountability.  The Productivity Commission has developed and regularly maintains a publicly accessible dashboard comprising data and associated supporting materials to inform the reporting on progress of the Closing the Gap in the four Priority Reform and 17 Socioeconomic outcome areas.  Over time, as data becomes available, this will build into an important tool for monitoring progress.  See Productivity Commission Dashboard.

The Productivity Commission also prepares an Annual Data Compilation Report which provides a point-in-time snapshot on progress under the National Agreement. See the Annual Data Compilation Report.
